An acorn is an amazing example of the law of attraction in action.  The nucleus of an acorn, which is preprogrammed to become an oak tree, will attract everything it needs to itself to grow into a massive oak tree:  the sunlight, the nutrients from the soil and the water.  We, too, can attract everything we need to ourselves to become who we want to become.  Our nucleus, or point of attraction, is our thoughts.  The beauty of our growth, though, is that are able to choose what we want to become through the power of our mind and intellect.  Unlike the acorn, we are capable of consciously selecting our outcome.  We can use our thoughts and our mind to determine who we become and what we create.  We can do that through the use of our imagination, through visualization, through examining our thoughts and replacing them with empowering ones, through affirmations, through the reading of motivational books about this amazing subject, through attending motivational seminars which reinforce this knowledge and by being committed to this new way of thinking.

The science of thinking abundantly is to hold the image of what you desire on the screen of your conscious mind and then plant it deeply into the soil of your subconscious mind until it becomes an automatic thought which feels completely natural to you.  Then relax and trust in the laws of the universe to bring you everything you need to yourself to fulfill that desire.  Don’t counteract this process with doubt, fear and disbelief.  If you really study and understand these principles then your doubt and disbelief will begin to diminish.

The most challenging part of this process will be to hold onto that image regardless of what is going on around you , regardless of the current situations in your life and regardless of what other people say.  If you can do this, it will manifest.  It’s a scientific law.

I remember when I found myself 60 or 70 pounds overweight after my third son was born and using these principles to lose those unwanted pounds.  I held onto the image of being thin regardless of how I currently looked, regardless of what the scale or mirror said and regardless of what anyone around me said.  I got excited about all of the benefits of being thin, I had a crystal clear image planted firmly on my conscious mind, I repeated affirmations and visualized the results.  Before I knew it, without any strict diet I began to lose weight.  My subconscious mind was programmed into thinking and acting like a thin person and everything in my body corresponded accordingly:  my appetite, my energy level, my desire to exercise, my metabolism, everything.  I lost the weight and my imagined results became my reality.  This process will work in any area of your life including your finances, health and relationships.
