Personal Development Growth can be achieved if you focus on what you want

Personal Development Growth can be achieved if you focus on what you want

Focusing on the positives in your life will not only help you gain personal development growth but also help you attain your desires!

At any given time we have a choice to focus on one of two things.   We can focus on our life the way it is or we can focus on our life the way we want it to be.  Most people focus on what is because that’s what surrounds them and demands their attention every day.  This is also why so few people achieve personal development growth and change, they just keep telling the same story when they wake up:  “Things just don’t work out for me, I’m not a successful money manager, I don’t know how to do that, I can’t afford that, I’ve always struggled with my weight, etc.”

There is always plenty of evidence to support that repetitive story too:  your empty bank account, the bathroom scale, the failed business venture.  Then the story becomes even stronger:  “See I told you I couldn’t succeed or lose weight.”  Your life follows the direction of your thoughts.  Begin to tell a new story.  Esther Hicks describes it as stopping the persistent drum of the old story you are telling (I don’t have enough money, I don’t have enough money) and start to tell a new and improved one (there is an abundance of money available to me).

We create by default when we “let” life happen to us, and find ourselves trying to fix things and handle problems rather than deliberately creating what we would prefer. We create by default when give our power away to outer circumstances and blame others for our life situation. We create by default when we become disconnected from our Inner Being, and think thoughts that feel bad. We are keeping ourselves out of alignment with what we really want in our lives. Please pause for a minute and think about this.

It’s critically important for you to understand that your THOUGHTS are the cause, and your LIFE is theeffect.

As you begin to change your thoughts and your story, your life will begin to change.  Your current reality is simply the result of the story you have told in the past.  You have the power to change that reality today.  The evidence of the new story will begin to manifest in your life in an amazing way.

Stop making excuses as to why something is not happening in your life.  Start seeing things as you would like them to be and they will manifest into your life.
