    Self-help author, Wayne Dyer, tells a great story of when he was a curious young boy and cut an acorn in half to try and discover the magic inside.  He wondered what caused that small seed to grow into a giant oak tree.  What he discovered was that there wasn’t a mini oak tree inside.  Like us, an acorn is nothing but energy.  The atoms inside our body are swirling around at an unbelievable speed of 386,000 miles per hour.  The most powerful form of energy we posses is the power of our thoughts.  Our thoughts create our reality.  In his amazing law of attraction book, “Thoughts are Things”, Prentice Mulford says, “We need to be careful of what we think and talk.  Because thought runs in currents as real as those of air and water.” 

    Your thoughts are the preview of your life’s coming attractions.  Your present reality is a result of your past thinking.  The fantastic news is that you are in absolute control of what you think.  Sometimes it seems like your thoughts control you.  Through mind discipline, you can gradually begin to shift the direction of your thinking.  If a negative thought pops in, just say “next” and replace it with a more empowering and positive one.  One of the best things you can do in your law of attraction training is to break the habit of negative thinking.  Memorize a list of positive affirmations such as “I am one with the power which created me.  There is nothing keeping me from fulfilling my dreams except my disbelief that I can.  I am using the power of my thoughts to create financial freedom in my life.”

    Today, I will use the most powerful source of energy I have at my fingertips to create the life I desire.  I will break my negative thinking through affirmations, mind discipline and excitement over what I can create in my life by controlling my thoughts.
