The Power of Now by Donna Himel

If you close your eyes for a moment of peace, without regard to the past or the future, and ask yourself “what in this moment is lacking?” you will find that nothing in the present moment is lacking. If you’re not concerned about something that happened 10 years ago or five seconds ago and you don’t allow yourself to be anxious about anything in the future, two minutes from now or five years from now, you will find that there is nothing lacking in the present moment.

A Great Personal Development Seminar by Donna Himel

I wanted to discuss an upcoming motivational book, Wishes Fulfilled, by Wayne Dyer. I say upcoming because it hasn’t gone to the presses yet but Dyer previewed it in his keynote address in Tampa, Florida in November. I can’t wait to read it when it is released. He writes all of his motivational books with the end in mind. He comes up with the idea first and then creates a cover in his mind. The power of your imagination is the major theme of his new book and of his key note address. I would like to share the overview of the book in progress with you here.

Personal Development Training – The Power of Our Thoughts

The most powerful energy we have available to us for creating the life we desire also rules and created the world: Thought. It controls everything in the material world because everything that was ever created was first a thought. As we begin to understand the power of our thoughts, we have to make a commitment to establish the discipline required to shift and change our habitual thought patterns. You must think on a higher frequency. The fullness of our life consists of intelligence and the power of thought. We have been blessed with a high degree of intelligence but we don’t always utilize the amazing power that is available to us.

Personal Development Growth can be achieved if you focus on what you want

Focusing on the positives in your life will not only help you gain personal development growth but also help you attain your desires! At any given time we have a choice to focus on one of two things. We can focus on our life the way it is or we can focus on our life the way we want it to be. Most people focus on what is because that’s what surrounds them and demands their attention every day.

Age of Miracles By Donna Himel

Marianne Williamson, author of A Return to Love, has always been one of my favorite authors and inspirational leaders. I just attended an extraordinary workshop with her in Tampa and wanted to share some of the highlights of my session there. She is an amazing speaker and feels like every word out of her mouth is sacred and divine. The session was called the Age of Miracles and was about how we can all grow into our spiritual maturity with grace and beauty. She began the session by talking about the importance of daily meditation. As a student of the Course in Miracles, she is a master on the subject. Through meditation and spiritual growth, we can practice what she called “holistic aging” which means we pay attention to the issues of our mind, body and spirit as we grow older.

Harness Personal Development through Bioenergetics – By Donna Himel

Founded by Alexander Lowen M.D, Bioenergetics has been an amazing discovery for me and Marvin in our continued spiritual growth and self-improvement path. We were referred to Robert Glazer PhD, and have been working with him for about a year. Dr. Glazer studied intensively with Alexander Lowen for many years and now continues his practice in Gainesville, Florida. Bioenergetics combines work with the body and the mind to help people resolve their emotional problems and discover their potential for pleasure and joy in living. What you think affects how you feel and vice versa. Bioenergetics seeks to bring about the healthy integrations of the body and the mind so that you have the energy to discover pleasure. The body work of bioenergetics involves special exercises that are designed to help you get in touch with your tensions and release them through appropriate movement. The techniques focus on releasing the physical tensions while dealing with the psychological issues underlying them.

Set Your Priorities – You CAN achieve Personal Development Growth!

Do you get to the end of the week and wonder what you got done and realize none of the items on your list have been completed? Do you ever wonder how successful people always seem to get so much done? Are you looking for personal development growth? Here’s what I have to say on the subject: you have to really think about what your priorities are. Be honest with yourself about how pushing for your goals affects you; think about why you feel responsible for the things you are responsible for; consider what is important to you.
